Precedent Study

By: Sarah Harris

The east building of the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC had an exhibit called "Small French Paintings". The entrance to the exhibit and the exhibit itself corresponded nicely with the subject of the exhibit. I thought the soothing blues and greens of the walls, the gold frames that adorned each photo, as well as the large graphic at the entrance enveloped the concept of the exhibit nicely and flowed well throughout the entirety of the exhibit.
