Thomas Day was an innovator and crafted furniture and fixture that were advanced for his time. The aspects of the Furniture Revolution Gallery, located at Merchandise Mart Chicago, IL, could be a precedent for our Thomas Day exhibit because it too shows off furniture that is innovative.
The Furniture Revolution Gallery is simple and clean which allows for the artifacts to be the focus. The circulation of the exhibit is open and allows that audience to move freely throughout the showroom.
